Supervisor Cum Cnc Programmer
Responsibilities:
Review drawings and specifications of a particular product and plan the production process, including where and how to cut the work piece, the correct tools and materials for the job and the sequence of steps to follow in production of the product.
Problem solve and make decisions on ways to decrease cycle times and efficiency of setups.
Supervises all assigned operations according to established manufacturing specifications within production schedules cooperating with other departments to assure proper product flow.
Keeps proper authorities notified of issues concerning production, schedules, quality or scrap problems.
Safeguards all company property and sees that all tools and equipment are in good operating condition and maintains work areas in a neat, orderly and safe manner.
Responsible for Production Team performance (CNC, Milling, Grinding & etc.)
Sets-up and runs production jobs occasionally.
Assists operators with set up and machining instructions.
Trains new employees on machining practices and safe working procedures.
Gathers, computes, records, and compiles data for production, cost, quality, maintenance reports.
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
Performs other duties as required by management.
Requirements:
Minimum of three years’ experience in a CNC production environment using Master Cam software.
Setup and operation ability of CNC Mills Lathes and other machines. Programming and trouble-shooting experience.
Detail-oriented, knowledge of shop math, machining, computers, communication, quality, safety, and team/independent working.
The willingness to take on new skills and constantly trying to improve skills and abilities; positive attitude, people skills, organizational and communication
skills, time-management and supervisory experience or equivalent.
CNC Machine Center Operator
Duties and Responsibilities:
Setup and operate CNC mill / lathe machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
Familiarize specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
Review samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output.
Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
Plan a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts.
Monitor the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excel in operating CNC mill / lathe machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools.
Able to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM.
Good mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
A sharp eye for detail and results-driven approach.
Excellent communication abilities.
Minimum SPM/O level or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline is a plus.
Successfully completed apprenticeship is required.
